Duties:

  • Prepares and paints or varnishes interior or exterior building surfaces and allied equipment; mixes colors, as required; assists in hanging wallpaper.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools in construction, remodeling, or repairing  doors, window frames, floors, cabinets, furniture or makes concrete forms, as required.
  • Inspects, repairs, and installs a wide variety of electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring.
  • Mixes and applies cement or plaster to floors, walls, ceilings; lays brick and tiles and finishes tile flooring; makes repairs to tile roofs, as required.
  • Supervises personnel assigned to assist in performing one or more of maintenance duties as required.
  • Installs and repairs roofing and siding; performs related mechanical operations.
  • Keeps working tools, equipment, and work area clean and in good condition.
$54,886-$62,377 per annum
